Charly Palmer
Charly Palmer is an award winning artist whose images depict the struggle for civil rights, African ancestry and children in wonderfully woven and layered backgrounds of patterns, color and texture. Palmer was selected to do the July 2020 cover of Time magazine for the America Must Change issue. He was also commissioned to do John Legend’s album cover which won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album Cover. Palmer was selected to create 2K22 art for the NBA. Fisk and Howard Universities commissioned him to develop original artwork for their 150 year anniversaries. He is a recipient of the 2018 Coretta Scott KIng & John Steptoe Award. Palmer’s work is in private and public collections which includes Atlanta Life Insurance, JP Morgan Chase, Miller Brewing Company and Vanderbilt University. Charly Palmer was born in Alabama, but raised in Wisconsin. He resides in Georgia with his wife and family.
