Magno Laracuente is an international award winning artist with a distinctive unique mix of expressionism, surrealism and abstract styles. His work has been described as a celestial exploration of peace and tranquility, nature and coral reefs. Although Laracuente was born in the Dominican Republic, he spends most of his time in New York. His has permanent artwork exhibited at El Museo del Barrio in New York, Contemporary Art Space in Osaka, Japan and The Museum of Modern Art in the Dominican Republic. Magno was awarded the prestigious Osaka Triennial Award in 2001.
