Sydnéi SmithJordan
Sydnéi SmithJordan is a dynamic visual artist, educator, and cultural storyteller whose work fuses vibrant figurative painting with narratives of American history, resilience, and lived experience. A tumultuous childhood led her to art, where she transformed silence into expression, blending graphics, abstraction, collage, and unexpected materials like glass, fabric, and metal into masterpieces of captivating portraiture.
Her work has been exhibited at the Harriet Tubman Museum of New Jersey, Newark Public Library, and Ocean City Art Museum, as well as national businesses and civic spaces. Named one of ArtTour International Magazine’s Top 60 Masters and recognized in 2025 as an Art Titan, SmithJordan studied at Santa Monica College and earned BFA and MFA degrees from Rhode Island School of Design. She is the visionary behind The Legacy Link Mobile Art Studio, a converted RV delivering pop-up workshops to underserved communities. Her artistry honors unsung figures and celebrates life. Understanding her role in preserving Black history, she paints with urgency to inspire healing, connection, and transformation.
